Ben Maclaine
Ben is regularly heard throughout Australia. He’s the promo voice for Australia’s No.1 rating drama ‘Packed to the Rafters’, explains the safety procedures onboard JetStar and is often used for nationwide campaigns (for Duracell, Vaseline, Toyota & Panadol to name a few).
He’s highly experienced and over the past 10 years has voiced 1000’s of spots - he was the lead promo voice for ‘The Comedy Channel’ for 3 years, and has been doing promos for Channel 7 (Australia’s leading free to air station), and MTV’s VH1 for the past 2 years.
His natural reads are warm and authoritative, and if you’re after a bit of energy he can really ramp it up... and ‘no wuckers’ if you’re after a true ‘Ocker’ accent - he loves to bung that on!!!
Apart from being behind the mic, Ben has also appeared on stage and screen... most recently in ‘Wounded’, a medieval action film – shot entirely in Australia!
